BEHIND THE PEN

Shelley considers herself one of the lucky ones. She does what she loves. Even as a child, she loved to draw. Still, when she graduated with a B.S. in Architecture, she didn't imagine that she would end up an artist after all.But life is interesting like that. After ten exciting years as an architectural designer, Shelley began her journey into the world of illustration -- almost accidentally. She is very happy about the turn of events.CHILDREN'S BOOK ILLUSTRATIONSShelley loves being a mom of two young boys. Having children inspired a love of children's books and their artwork. To inspire the creativity and imagination of a child is priceless reward.ARCHITECTURAL RENDERINGSShelley loves creating freehand renderings that tell a story. Lifestyle sketches that sell the idea of an idea are her niche. Clients use her drawings for RFPs, Schematic Designs presentations, Master Plan documents, and Fundraising efforts.
