Shelley considers herself one of the lucky ones; she does what she loves.
As a child she loved to draw. Originally she translated her love of art and design into the architectural profession. After graduating with a B.S. in Architecture, Shelley enjoyed ten years as an architectural designer.
After the birth of her first child, Shelley journied into the world of illustration -- almost accidentally. Life is interesting like that. She is very happy about the turn of events.
Shelley currently resides in Michigan with her husband Bob and their two young boys, Matthew and Nolan. She believes she has the best of both worlds. She plays dinosaurs all day and draws late into the night.
